Frequently asked questions

Are the signatures legally binding?

The signing flow provides simple electronic signatures, not qualified electronic signatures. Whether a simple electronic signature is enough depends on the type of contract and the applicable law.

Is Polybase SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified?

Not yet. Both are on our roadmap. We answer security questionnaires and architecture questions today.

Where are our documents stored?

In our EU cloud or on your own servers, including fully offline setups. You choose where the workspace runs, and your content is not used to train foundation models.

Can external parties take part without an account?

Yes. External participants can sign contracts, open share links you create and send files through an upload link without becoming workspace members.
