Frequently asked questions

Is Polybase an HR information system?

No. Polybase is a team workspace. It does not provide payroll, time off or other HRIS features, and it does not provision from BambooHR, Workday, Personio or Rippling. It is where onboarding, handbooks and hiring coordination happen.

Can we keep sensitive HR channels private?

Yes. Sign-up is invite-only, and roles decide who can see and change each channel. Roles are enforced by the server on every request.

Can candidates or external recruiters take part?

You can invite external people to the channels they need, and send calendar invites with RSVP to external guests. Roles control what they can see.

Where is our HR data stored?

In our EU cloud or on your own servers. You choose where the workspace runs, and your content is not used to train foundation models.
