No. Polybase has no async screen recording today, and call recording is disabled by design. The model is different: hop into a live call from the channel, share your screen, and write the outcome into a thread or doc. If recorded video messages are core to how you work, Loom remains the better tool for that specific job.
02How do we handle async updates without video?
In writing. Threads, docs and task comments are async by nature — teammates in other time zones read them in minutes instead of watching them in real time, reply inline, and everything stays searchable. Most teams find that a written standup thread is faster to produce and far faster to consume than a stack of recordings.
