QA / Software Test Specialist
Work closely with our product and engineering team to catch issues before users do. You'll combine careful manual testing with practical automation and help shape how we ship dependable releases.
What you'll do
- Plan and run exploratory, functional and regression tests for Polybase's web and desktop apps.
- Test real user journeys across chat, tasks, documents and calls, including permissions and multi-user scenarios.
- Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and evidence; verify fixes with developers.
- Maintain release checklists and test cases, and help expand end-to-end automation with Playwright.
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience testing web applications and writing reproducible bug reports.
- A systematic approach to test design, edge cases and prioritizing issues by their impact on users.
- Comfort using browser developer tools, inspecting network requests and testing APIs.
- Clear written communication, attention to detail and ownership of issues through to resolution.
Nice to have: Playwright or similar automation tools, JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience testing real-time collaboration or desktop apps.
