Polybase for engineering
Ship with the context your engineers need
Keep pull requests, incident response, runbooks and release plans in the same workspace as the conversation about them. Engineers spend less time asking where things stand.
Workflows
Built for how engineering teams actually work
Keep reviews tied to the task they deliver
Connect GitHub and link pull requests, branches and commits to tasks. Review stays in GitHub, while the task moves to the right status automatically and the linked pull request gets a comment back.
- Pull request, branch and commit linking
- Automatic status moves from GitHub activity
- Status approvals before work counts as done
AI Assistant
AI that knows the code, the tasks and the runbook
The AI Assistant works inside your workspace, so it can read the runbook, check linked pull requests and tell you what is still open. It only sees what you are allowed to see.
- Summarise an incident channel into a timeline
- Draft release notes from completed tasks
- Connect coding tools through the MCP server

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the product development page?
Product development covers the path from feedback to a planned feature. This page is about the engineering work around the code: reviews, incidents, technical documentation and releases.
Does Polybase replace GitHub?
No. Code and code review stay in GitHub. Polybase links pull requests, branches and commits to tasks, moves their status from that activity and comments back on linked pull requests. It is not a two-way sync of issues.
Can our coding tools work with the workspace?
Yes. Polybase includes an MCP server with scoped, per-channel API keys, and a REST API under /api/v1. Tools like Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT can connect without seeing more than the key allows.
Can we run Polybase on our own infrastructure?
Yes. Run it in our EU cloud or self-host it with Docker, including fully offline setups. A deployment needs PostgreSQL and Dragonfly, and calls use a self-hosted LiveKit server.
